形容词、副词用法聚焦

同学们好！根据本刊编辑计划及英语“四位一体”中考复习教学路子，这一期我们将要复习的语法项目有：形容词、副词、there be结构、基本句型和句子成分。下面先请看—

李文亮：老师，如何才能学好形容词和副词？

老师：形容词和副词好像一对孪生姐妹，要学好它们，得先了解它们在句中的作用。形容词常在句中修饰名词或代词作定语；也可以放在连系动词之后作表语；还可以充当宾补。如：

1．I am a good teacher．（定语）

2．We are all friendly．（表语）

3．Let's keep the door open．（宾补）

王克：老师，副词在句中的作用又有哪些呢？

老师：副词是表示行为或状态特征的词。主要用来修饰动词、形容词和副词。在句中可作状语、表语和定语。如：

4．We must work hard．（修饰动词work）

5．We are here，but Feifei is there．（表语）

6．I know the girl there．（后置定语）

孙凯：原来如此简单，我学会喽！

老师：“好戏”还在后头呢！

李文亮：据说，形容词、副词在运用中有三个比较等级。请问老师，怎样进行区分？

老师：（自言自语：现在的学生真不好教，幸好我事先准备了电脑资料）你这个问题提得相当好。我们还是来看看电脑资料吧！（打开电脑）

电脑显示：这是英语资料中心，有关形容词、副词的三个比较等级的运用应注意利用暗示语，准确判断出形容词、副词的级。

一、在as，so，too，very，quite等词后，只用原级。如：

7．Lucy is as tall as Lily．

8．Thank you for teaching us so well．

9．It's too late．

10．Taoqi did very well in the long jump．

11．She looks quite young．

二、前面有m uch， even，a little等词，特别是后面有than时；并列连词and前后（除 very ／nice ＋and ＋形容词外）；the．．．，the．．．结构中；以及who， which等引导的特殊疑问句且后面有or连接两个并列成分时，形容词、副词都要使用比较级。如：

12．Feifei is much taller than Taoqi．

13．The harder you work，the better you will learn．

14．He ran faster and faster．

15．Why don't you come a little earlier？

16．Which do you like better，milk or apple juice？

三、在in，of引导的表示“三者或三者以上的……”表比较范围

的句子中；who，which等引导的特殊疑问句且后面有or连接的三个或三个以上的并列成分时；“one of ＋ the ＋形容词＋可数名词复数”结构中，常用最高级。注意：形容词最高级前一般要用定冠词，副词最高级前的冠词可省掉。如：

17．Wang hai is the tallest in our class．

18．Of all the girls，Lucy ran fastest．

19．Who is the best in English，Li Liang，Zheng Wenyan or He Rui？

20．English is one of the world's most important languages because it is so widely used．
