1. 冠词的概念

冠词是用在名词前帮助说明名词所指的人或事物的词,英语中有定冠词the 和不定冠词a, an.

2. 冠词的用法

1)a, an表示一个,和可数名词单数连用,a用在读音以辅音发音开头的单词前.如:a book.而an用在以元音发音开头的单词前.如:an hour, an apple.

2)The的用法较复杂:

a. the 用在表示特定的人或东西前.如:

I have an umbrella. The umbrella is yellow.

b. 表示世界上独一无二的东西前,用the.如:The sun is red.

3)the +形容词表示一类人或事物.如:the poor 穷人.
