II．Cultural Information
1．In America，you will often come across situations in which you are supposed to（应该）say“Sorry”．But otherswill say it first．In fact，Americans don't care much who is responsible when a friction（摩擦）happens in daily life．If someone is troubled，a“Sorry”is always necessary．When this happens，the“Sorry”cools tempers even if the other person is hurt．
2．Americans like to say“Thank
you”．They think that“Thank you” means that you appreciate what someone has done for you although they are very small and very ordinary（普通的） things．Even when the waiter has done something for the President，the President will thank him．So people should say“Thank you”as often as possible to each other even if they are husband and wife．
